Ages: 5-10

Tools: Ozobot and more!

Coder’s Ladder: Pre-coding level

Prerequisites: None

CAMP DESCRIPTION:

Our Robotics for Little Coders with Ozobot camp is an opportunity for young children to develop their computational thinking skills, build their first programs, and have fun with new friends! Ozobot's programming is designed specifically for early readers, taking into account the cognitive abilities and typical attention span of children ages 5-7. Students are introduced to basic coding concepts with simple tasks, such as customizing their Ozobot and assigning commands through different colors, then build up to more complex tasks with Ozobot's simple drag-and-drop language. Combine with our Little Coders camp for a full day!

Tools: Scratch and more!

Coder’s Ladder: Level 1

Prerequisites: Reading Ability

CAMP DESCRIPTION:

Start your coding journey by creating your own games! Campers will learn the core concepts of computer programming that will lay the foundations for future coding success. A variety of projects, such as chasing games, mazes, and animated stories, will allow campers to use their creativity while learning coding concepts like loops and variables. Our unique curriculum and smaller class size provide personalized instruction that helps students progress at their own pace while being appropriately challenged. Students will have access to their own Scratch account that will allow them to continue working on their coding journey at home.
