He received his DMA (Doctor of Musical Arts) from the University of Minnesota and his second master's degree from the University of Cincinnati. Studied at the first master's and bachelor's degrees of Shanghai Conservatory of Music. Piano teachers include Timothy Lovelace, Ran Dank and Jackson Leung. His chamber music teachers include Sandra SmithSandra Rivers, LeeLee Fiser and YehudaYehuda Hanani, they are both outstanding performers and world-renowned musicians.

During his studies, Vincent served as a teaching assistant at UMN . Participated in many piano festivals and music activities such as the International Piano Festival of Shanghai Conservatory of Music; American cultural exchange performances; The 1st, 2nd and 3rd (Shanghai) Sino-Russian School International Piano Festival. He was awarded the Outstanding Teacher Award at the 2nd International Piano Festival of Russian Schools and the 22nd MCAC Annual Honorable Award.

Vincent has been teaching for more than  10  years since graduating from undergraduate school. He has helped numerous students pass the ABRSM Diploma in Practical, Music Theory and Performance. He is a very patient teacher and passionate about stimulating the creativity of his students
