The After school Program is for children from TK to 8th grades.  After their school day, we pick up children to our school for an afternoon of fun, play, adventure, and a variety of other activities. 

We recognize that each family's needs are unique. We provide a variety of camps and enrichment classes that are designed with the needs of children and families in mind. Students will be divided into appropriate age groups.

1. We have professional teachers with strong education background and graduated from top tier univercity such us Tsinghua University（清华大学）, Columbia University（哥伦比亚大学）, Pennsylvania University（宾夕法尼亚大学）,  China Central Academy Of Fine Arts（中央美术学院).  Coco校长亲自兼任中文教师。

2. We utilize the latest tools such as Khan Academy to better track students’ progress. 

3. We also inspire kids to become interested in technology and teach them programming in fun ways. 

4. We provide strong programs in language and art - Chinese, English composition, math, reading, computer, robot, drawing, violin, and piano.

5. We became a Girl Scout troop early on and we are in the process of joining Boy Scouts.

6. Our campus is spacious (5000 Square feet) and convenient - we are located in downtown San Mateo. We have 22 reserved parking.

SNACK TIME

One thing never fails: kids are always hungry after school. To meet this need, we provide a healthy afternoon snack each day that always includes fresh fruit or vegetables. In addition, we are always willing to work with any parent of a child who has a specific concern or food allergy.

HOMEWORK CLUB

We know getting homework done each day is a priority for many parents. That's why we organized Homework Club, available to all kinds who would like to participate. After snack time each day, the Homework Club meets in a group together at quiet tables to do their homework. The club is managed by our teachers, who are there to support children’s homework needs and make sure that children finish the majority of their homework. Homework Club runs for approximately one and a half hours; children are free to leave the area and join in on the other activities as soon as their homework is completed.

ACTIVITIES

Our schools provide many enrichment classes, ranging from Chinese to piano. We became a Girl Scout troop early on and we are in the process of joining Boy Scouts. We also will take our students to various competition.

在2018年，我们的孩子赢得了联合国最佳海报奖，14届汉语桥杯1-2年纪组朗读第二名，k组绘画第三名，包揽了1-2年级组绘画第二名和第三名，3-5年级组绘画第三名。

SPECIAL EVENT

Each child is unique. We make a point of celebrating important milestones in a child’s life such as birthdays or a lost tooth. We host special events for Christmas, Thanksgiving, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Easter, Halloween, and Chinese New Year . During spring we will take students to pick strawberries and cherries.

FRIDAY FUN NIGHTS

To give our parents and families an opportunity to have a night out, we host special events called Friday Fun Nite about four or five times per year. It's often scheduled close to holidays. Friday Fun Nite begins at 6 PM and ends at 10 PM. It is filled with special activities such as dinner, pajama parties, and art activities. The night is usually concluded with a movie ( we provide popcorn and fruits!). Fun Nite is optional and is open only to current students and siblings. Friday Fun Nite is popular with both parents and kids. Give us a call if you have any questions.

We encourage you to make an appointment to visit one of our school if you are considering enrolling your child in the afterschool. Since enrollment is limited due to space and licensing requirements, we generally maintain a waiting list.
